Recipes: Healthy Crockpot Soups
Please review my post on what makes a recipe healthy. It is up to you to choose healthy ingredients. These recipes are what I consider to be basically healthy but make your own substitutions where necessary. Add your own bones or bone broth. One thing that will not be in these recipes, as opposed to the 90% plus soups at the grocery store, is MSG (that is unless you add it with your ingredients!).
I also chose these recipes because it is so convenient to make these with a crockpot (slow cooker). It is also still chilly enough outside in most of the country to appreciate the extra warmth these hot soups will provide.
