Christ’s Precious Blood part 4

Christs-Precious-Blood-part-4-bChrist’s precious blood makes us nigh to God.

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Eph. 2:13 KJV

From Webster’s 1828 Dictionary nigh means:

  • Near; not distant or remote in place or time
  • Close in fellowship; intimate in relation

Christ’s precious blood makes it possible for us to be near to God. We can be close in fellowship with God because of Christ’s precious blood. We can have intimacy with God because of Christ’s precious blood.

Christ’s precious blood gives us boldness to enter into the holiest.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,  Heb. 10:19 KJV

There is no fear of being killed from not being holy enough. The blood of Jesus already cleansed us (as we saw in my previous posts). The holiest place is the most intimate place…that place where we draw nigh to be in close fellowship with God. We can enter with confidence and without fear.

Hallelujah!! The blood of Christ makes me nigh to God! I can have close fellowship with God! I can have intimacy with God because of the precious blood of Jesus! I can enter into the holiest with boldness and confidence! Thank you Jesus for your precious blood!
