Book Review: Between Heaven and Earth by Steve Berger — 2 Comments

  1. Thanks for the review, Cheryl. It sounds like a book I’d like to read. I especially like the idea that “. . .once you anchor your heavenly hopes properly your earthly purpose will become more anchored as well.” I think this is so true.

There was a time when Christians were mocked for thinking about heaven. We were accused of being so heavenly minded that we were of no earthly good. It’s true that you can’t sit on a cloud and wait for Jesus to return, but I’ve found, in my experience, that you really do have to have your heart anchored in heaven before you can be of any earthly good.

People are looking for the peace and confidence, and the joy, that is reflected in lives that have a heavenly hope.
