Beneficial Broccoli? — 12 Comments

  1. Thank you Cheryl for sharing this information! And for the reminder to eat a VARIETY of healthy foods each day for complete wellness

  2. Great article Cheryl. Love that you remind us to do our own research too. I find “listening” to my body helps also. You get to realize how your body responds to certain foods when you pay attention to what it is telling you.

  3. Fantastic article, Cheryl! I’m loving the information and I can’t thank you enough for the reminder that it’s all about variety and (of course) freshness. YES!!!

  4. I really can’t imagine any controversy about broccoli. The only thing I could think of is people on coumadin (warfarin) might want to avoid it because vitamin K is known to reduce the effect of anticoagulants. Does it help with cancer? I have to imagine that it does. I was reading about a relatively new cancer treatment using dichloroacetate (google it), I’m still trying to figure out what it is exactly.
